- HDPE: Marine-grade HDPE is inherently UV-stabilized. It withstands harsh, direct sunlight and won’t fade, chalk, or peel. Furthermore, it doesn’t get hot to touch under the sun.
- PVC: Standard PVC degrades rapidly in direct sun. The UV rays cause the material to break down, yellow, and become brittle, meaning it usually requires painting or protective wrapping for outdoor longevity.
